Why I’m Not Blogging Much Anymore

The main reason is that my viewpoints on morality and religion have continued to evolve (some Creationists still have a hard time even hearing that word right?), and are now at the point where many of my old friends and family members would be hurt by my words.

Comfortable with Uncertainty (Book review)

I’ve really enjoyed reading this book “Comfortable with Uncertainty” by Pema Chodron. I see many similarities with Christian teachings here and for those who don’t have a hang-up in comparing other moral teachings with Christian ones, you might also enjoy this book.

How Our Beliefs are Shaped

The problem I see here is when people use this “comforting feeling” as a proof for their belief. I don’t think there is a convincing argument here. Just wanting and desiring something to be true does not make it so.
