Science, Religion, Politics and in the pursuit of truth – HappyPsychotic

Me and my wife are swingers. Is that shocking? I bet so. What do I mean by swinger? We have sex with other people. I bet most of you don’t believe me, but it doesn’t matter to me, ‘cuz when you hear the details you’ll see it’s true. And it’s true.

I’ve written a lot about how tired I am of this whole rat race in North America. I find it very depressing to think that even though I have a well paying job, I have to work 5 days a week until I’m 60 before I can afford to retire and then “relax and do what I want”.

The main reason is that my viewpoints on morality and religion have continued to evolve (some Creationists still have a hard time even hearing that word right?), and are now at the point where many of my old friends and family members would be hurt by my words.

I’ve really enjoyed reading this book “Comfortable with Uncertainty” by Pema Chodron. I see many similarities with Christian teachings here and for those who don’t have a hang-up in comparing other moral teachings with Christian ones, you might also enjoy this book.
